  • How long is an appointment? allow up to an hour for a new patient appointment and 20 minutes for a treatment.

  • Which type of appointment do I need? All patients must undergo a new patient appointment initially, even if they have seen a Chiropractor previously at a different clinic. This is to allow a full consultation and physical examination to assess your condition and form a treatment plan. All follow on appointments will be classed as a treatment.

  • What do I wear to an appointment? Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal. It may be necessary to remove items of clothing to assess areas. If you feel uncomfortable at any time please let the Chiropractor know.

  • Does the new patient appointment include treatment? Where appropriate and possible treatment will start at the new patient appointment. There may be times where this may not be possible and cannot be guaranteed.

  • How many sessions will I need? This depends on the individual patient, many things will influence this including how long the complaint has been ongoing, cause, condition type and age. This will be discussed as part of your treatment plan.

  • What happens if I decide to stop my treatment plan? Your Chiropractor will discuss and recommend a treatment plan for you. You are not obliged to follow this, this is patient choice. If you have any concerns, it is encouraged to discuss this with your Chiropractor. If you have booked a follow on appointment and decide to discontinue treatment, it is asked that you cancel the appointment in line with the cancellation policy with 24 hours notice.

  • Can I use my health care insurance? Many health care policies include Chiropractic, this will depend on the policy you have. Please check with your provider if they will cover treatment at the clinic. The Chiropractor is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is able to provide an invoice for treatment. However we do not claim directly from the companies, you will need to pay for treatment.
